One of the more modern Premier Inns with several eating venues within walking distance. Although just off M40, the traffic noise was not too bad.
Very friendly staff with excellent management of breakfast and a pleasant outside sitting area.

Easily located just off the motorway, Banbury Premier Inn lived up to the reliable standard expected of this chain of hotels. The bed itself was extremely comfortable, but the duvet was thick, heavy and cumbersome. Such a shame as it really spoilt what would otherwise have been a very good nights sleep. The room was clean and had all the usual things expected of a traveller's hotel including wifi in the room. Breakfast was the star of the event. Enough to say it was fantastic, and would meet 99.9% of anybody's requirements. The staff in the restaurant were superb and really seemed to want to excel in their job. Based on my experience of the day I would have employed any one of them when I was in business.
Outside the hotel entrance the ground was littered with cigarette ends and it was near impossible to enter the hotel without being assailed by smoke.

Good Premier Inn and room 226 gave us two great nights sleep with no external noise either night.
Plenty free car parking spaces. Thyme Restaurant although they couldn’t fit us in on Saturday evening because we hadn’t booked. Plenty of options on site, ie Frankie and Bennys, Toby Carvery were two mins walk from the Premier Inn.
Breakfast was fine although the fresh fruit was not presented particularly well or appetising.
Great location for motorway and Banbury centre.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June. We have stayed in a few Premier Inns when we are ‘budget travelling’ and just need a clean, safe & comfortable place after a busy day! Premier Inn always fits the bill. This one was with no exception. A few little hiccups like giving us the wrong room, then moving us when we told them we’d booked a family room, not enough towels for us all in the room, toilet paper dispenser was empty etc etc. Once all this was pointed out everything was rectified immediately which is why we still recommend it. Every so often these things happen but it’s how they are dealt with is what makes or breaks them... the staff were genuinely apologetic and worked to rectify everything and turn things around which they did. Thank you! The usual great Premier breakfast served in the Thyme restaurant. Plenty of safe free parking onsite and lots of restaurant chains within walking distance as well as a large retail park 5 min drive away. Good speedy WiFi & easy access from M4 and into Banbury town.

This place is fantastic value for money, especially if you opt for the meal deal.

The location is handy for all sorts of places, the room/bed is really comfortable, the staff are helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is fresh (and excellent!) what more can you ask!
