We have had a fantastic week's stay at Apple house. The owners were very friendly and so helpful. The house is delightful. It is like a home from home. Clean, cosy, well equipped and tastefully designed and decorated. The setting is so relaxing too. Surrounded by hills, mountains, lots of green and animals.
The log burner was easy to use and made the living room so cosy. The beds were very comfortable and the the linen white and crisp. Towels were plenty and super thick and fluffy too.
We loved our time there and are already thinking of coming back in the summer for a few days.
Apple tree is a peaceful and pleasant location. Nicely decorated and stocked. It got everything you need. Richard and Caroline are very friendly hosts. Would not hesitate to go back again!
Our second time here and just as perfect. Immaculately presented, clean, charming building, lovely owners - what more could you want for? Great location for a base for walking,Hay-on-Wye and the Brecon Beacons. A perfect spot for our family Christmas. We very much hope to return again.
We had a wonderful stay in the Apple House. We were struck by the attention to detail and high standard of all the fixtures and fittings in such a beautiful setting. A perfect sanctuary from which to explore the hills or Haye on Wye and Brecon. We hope to be back.
Stylish, comfortable, perfectly equipped cottage in beautiful surroundings. Friendly, helpful owners - welcome pack of local eggs, milk, butter, bread and apple juice much appreciated. Perfect location 6 miles from Hay, close to great walking on Offa's Dyke and Wye Valley trail. Tomatitos, a dog friendly tapas bar in Hay and the Three Horsehoes pub in Groesffordd (also dog friendly) both had great local produce on their menus.
