“Excellent place, friendly host.”

Even with wet welsh weather we would advise you to try this lovely place. Curl up on a real settee (not wooden framed)
In front of the log burner with a good book n glass of wine......then of course the hot tub is also an option

Just spent 5 nights at this lovely farm in a beautiful setting just outside Chepstow and only 5 miles from the Bridge crossing. Accommodation is a barn conversion (there are 2 holiday units) with 3 separate bedrooms - great for us as we took our grandson and an elderly uncle. Basic but very clean and comfortable, with great facilities for the little ones including, outdoor play area with swings, climbing frame and ball games/games room with table tennis/pool table/darts/playstation2 & games/ lots of board games/and a selection of DVDs. Our 7 year old grandson was well entertained and was also able to collect eggs from the chickens and walk the little goats, which was very exciting !! For the adults there is the Hot Tub and the beautiful scenery, peace and quiet, to relax and enjoy, or to take a leisurely walk. 10 minutes drive to Chepstow and a big Tesco, or get Asda delivery as we did. So many lovely places to visit in and around the Wye Valley. Owners very friendly and helpful and great with the little ones.

“Fantastic home from home in the country, very welcoming with all you could ask for!”
Reviewed 28 May 2012 for a stay in May 2012

What a fabulous place to stay, on turning into the lane where the cottage is you're greeted by some fantastic views, once you've weaved your way down the old farm drive there's plenty of space to park. (tip- don't bring any very low sports cars as you may struggle with the drive!)

We were greeted by the owners and let into the property. It's all very pleasant and clean and they've thought of everything that you may need on your trip. You need to ask to use the hot-tub so that they can test the water but this was no issue as we asked on arrival so it was all ready for that evening.

We used the BBQ both nights and were able to have the patio area and hot tub to ourselves all very relaxed and exactly what we were looking for.

This is a great place to go if you really want to get away as there is no signal in the area! But you are only a 10 minute drive from Chepstow so still close to local amienties.

We spent an afternoon at the races in Chepstow before getting the keys to the cottage and then had a day of Canadian Canoeing the following day. There's lots to do locally and easy to get to if you have a car.

I have already recommended the place to a few friends and I'd definately consider going back but I'd like to stay longer next time!
