My partner and I regularly enjoy weekends away and this one did not disappoint us.
Having two dogs we are used to being limited with choice when it comes to accommodation, often even when we find somewhere that is ‘dog friendly’ we get put in the scruffiest of rooms with no frills but this was really different.
The cottage is really quaint in a charming rather than shabby way. It looked like a lot of the cottage had recently been refurbished to a high standard and we were really pleased that we were well kitted out with utensils and bits and bobs. Having said that we didn’t do an awful lot of self catering, the food in the hotel’s pub next door was so yummy, we did cheat most nights but it was nice to know we could have cooked in had we of wanted.
In terms of the location, we couldn’t have asked for much more. We were just a short drive from Dunster Castle and the town itself (which is full of lovely pubs and tea rooms) and had some great walks nearby either on shingle beaches or through woodlands.
Looking forward to our next visit already ☺More
