Every time we walk into this restaurant we are greeted with a smile and a genuine welcome. Their menu is slightly different than you would expect with many dishes being handed down the family and now available for their customers to enjoy. All of the dishes are homemade so you can choose how spicy you want your meal, and the spice is not a case of adding additional curry powder. For Lamb lovers this is an oasis of delight, the meat is succulent and falls off the fork rather than many other places where it is too tough to eat. If you live in Newbury, or are traveling via rail, just make some time to pop in, although it’s recommended you book as it’s often full, and just try for yourself. A restaurant should not be judged by its location and this is a great example.
