A nice park only spoilt by the amount of seagull and goose sh** that was difficulty to miss when walking around.

I have visited Peasolm Park many times. Not matter how many times we've been, there is always something that I haven't seen before. The gardens especially the Chinese garden is awash with very ornate flowers. Lots of water and just taking time to have a rest, makes Peasholm Park one of the best i have ever visited. It has lots to offer. From a leisurely pedal ride, to a material if you are Not frightened of heights, there is a water boat flume, a ride on the Miniature Railway. Maybe fancy a concert evening at the Open Air Theatre. A lovely cafe which sits high up and overlooks the lake with a beautiful waterfall. Special events on the band stand. A brilliant keyboard players and a brass band playing whilst you sit awhile around the lake. This park is a fantastic day out and it is very well used by the tourists and locals of all ages.

You can watch the famous Navel battle, (boats with men inside) performing a battle seen think it's 3 afternoons per week. You have to pay ride the dragon boats, play pitch and putt. Listen to a band, most Sunday's in summer. Or just stroll the landscape gardens. Walk up the glen, follow the stream feed the squirrels or just sit and admire the view.

The Japanese garden on the island was not accessible with a wheelchair. The WCs were old but clean and not smelly.
