Stayed for just one night as we went to the open air theatre, which is 5 minutes walk which was perfect.
Really good value for money, some places were charging ridiculous rates as they knew there was a show on and were no where near as nice as the Norlands.
Really clean, comfy and a beautiful breakfast the next morning.
Will definitely stay again.

Excellent small hotel, in a good location, limited hotel parking but free on street available at most times (Busy on the Tour of York day but fine after that) Owners couldn't have been more helpful, breakfasts as good as a five star.

A really decent B&B. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff were on the ball, there when you wanted them and efficient.
The breakfast was Superb
Centrally placed for the town and also the events at the open theatre.
This is the second time we have stayed there will def stay there again when in town.

Room was OK, breakfast good, not sure about state of kettle in room! I don't know that I would rate it as a 'four star' and although there was a bar/lounge this did seem to be deserted when I visited. Handy for open air theatre, Peasholm Park end of town.
