The hotel looks great online but the reality is a lot different. I paid 360 pounds for 2 nights in a side sea view room which was tired and in need of updating.
The room was unbelievably hot and only window opened about 10cm.
I kept the 2 fans on constantly and luckily was able to sleep with them still on.
Breakfast was all self service not what you would expect from a supposedly higher end hotel.
Only one barman on duty who also fetched the food.
Numerous guests gave up waiting to be served.
The hospitality areas look good and are aimed at attracting corporate business.
The staff are friendly and helpful and probably embarrassed by the place.
Britannia who own the hotel were voted worst hotel chain.
