When we visit Eastbourne this is the only place we go -
The tea /coffee always good -great choice of cakes / smoothies/breakfast/veggie options / healthy options -today I had the bacon /Brie cranberry ciabatta-my husband had a pastrami cheese and salad ciabatta -both served with a side salad -they both were brimming with filling and very tasty . The staff are always friendly -you can sit outside in nice weather but seating also inside -lovely atmosphere -a little gem would highly recommend
An interesting cafe that serves freshly made juices, beautiful sour dough bread, sourced from a local bakery, and a variety of cakes. If you are aware of the sugar in fruit you may wish to vary the ingredients in your juice.
The staff are generally helpful and friendly but at times, unsmiling and unaware of customer needs.
Hi Paul, thank you for your review, we appreciate the feedback. Just a few points to note, we customised your juice to include more cucumber as asked at no extra cost, so your comment on this is surprising. The last time you came into the shop with your partner, we were extremely busy and you were taking up 2 seats on the banquette and when asked to move you refused, which of course led to us being slightly unhappy, which explains us not smiling.
I feel as though going forward it would be best for us both if you found a new juice bar to hang out in as I don’t think coffee & carrot is the place for you as the vibes you give off every time you are in the shop are quite negative and your behaviour is quite rude. I’m sure you appreciate where we are coming from. ☕➕🥕
This is a great little place near a roundabout . There are tables under some trees and it's always very popular. The service is good and we just love the coffee. Being boring we always have a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich. You can sit and watch the world go by. The staff serve with a smile.
Best coffee I've had for a long time and delicious cakes. We were in Eastbourne for a week and visited here almost every day. A treat.
