“Sea, sky, stargazing, socialising ( and even a bit of shopping!!)......wow!”
Reviewed 4 August 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Tucked away just 2 minutes from the seafront, lovely Shell is raised up arm-in-arm with a huddle of traditional Gower fishermen's cottages . We loved the thoughtfully designed interior of this sweet coastal retreat - everything we needed, a place for everything and everything in its place. Ship-shape really!
Loads to do locally ( parents and kids...) restaurants, great pubs, lifeboat station ( watch them launch !!!!!) ,fab village with plenty of independent shops . No shortage of things to do with kids - boats, beaches, pier, traditional parks... could go on, but..
All within easy reach of the amazing Gower peninsula. We walked for ages, to outrageously beautiful beaches. And returned to the Crows Nest at Shell, with a bottle of wine. Which is where the stargazing occurred...

has an amazing 'crow's nest' terrace at the back.
