Needing a change from the grander restaurants we had been treating ourselves to, we scoured the local neighbourhood for something family run, offering a simpler menu, and easier on the pocket. We were warmly greeted and seated at a large table with benches (cushions were provided!). The cold meat platters looked nice, but needing something hot on a cold winter's night we ordered the pork belly and neck with dumplings. Good draught beer was served first, and shortly the food arrived. Absolutely delicious! As usual we finished with a shared hot apple strudel. Friendly service; very good value for money.
