We stopped here every day when we travelled into the centre of vienna. It is a great location for getting to different parts of the city.

It's beautiful. Old history preserved in a prefect shape. Vienna state opera house and Mozart statue are near by. Plenty of restaurants and walking trails and yeh one can see a lot of tourists

Karlsplatz is an amazing square garden much like many other iconic junctions in Vienna.
There are shops, iconic structures, good bargain souvenir deals, a business school, etc. and many photo ops waiting for the ideal traveler to explore.

Do not forget to cross over to the Opera side of the road, and hunt for Lindt Boutique.

This place is where you can get the best quality and cheapest Lindt chocolate packs, cheapest in most of Europe.
We got around 500 grams of assorted Lindt chocolates for 9 Euros here?
Can you beat that?

Hence, Karlsplatz and its surroundings deserve a two hour lookout in your Vienna travel itinerary.

The large beautiful square in Central Vienna is home to the Karlskirche and the Otto Wagner Pavilion and lies at the edge of Vienna's old town.

The large square is planted with many trees and flower-beds and is a great place to relax and unwind.

In a city as magnificent as Vienna it is very difficult to find a bad corner and this square has some many nice details and points of interest. Full of life with good coffee shops and bars
