Recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. On arrival we were offered an upgrade to an executive room for 15 EUR per night. This seemed like a good deal as we were offered a larger room with tea/coffee making facilities and access to the executive lounge which is open 9.00 - 21.00 daily. It does appear from previous reviews that we were charged more than others for this upgrade though. It appears that others were offered the same upgrade for 10 EUR per night. We stayed mid-week so not sure why we would have been charged more. Nevertheless, it was lovely to have a large and spacious room.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and pleasant. One of the male members of staff behind reception was particularly helpful in explaining how we could get to the train station early morning by using the metro instead of paying more for a taxi. On check out I explained that I needed to pay for two drinks we had from the mini bar. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and informed us that we could have one of them for free which was nice.

The hotel is in a great location and easily accessible to lots of sights on foot. The hotel is also situated a few minutes walk from a metro station so sights further afield can also be reached easily. The hotel is also surrounded by many shops, bars and restaurants.

We had a drink in the hotel bar on two occasions during our stay. The barman was lovely and the prices very reasonable.

The hotel breakfast was a little expensive at 18 EUR per person so we opted to eat elsewhere. We also made use of the yoghurts/croissants available in the executive lounge.

The only real issue we had was the noise from our room on two nights. The first night was fine but the second and third night there was a lot of noise which kept us awake most of the night. I don’t expect it to be silent whilst staying in the centre of a city, but for two nights in a row the noise was excessive.

Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to others. I would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel : Great location in the old city center, the Hotel is just a few meters away from St.Stephan’s church as well as restaurants, shops, grocery store, etc. The staff at arrival was helpful and offered us to upgrade to an executive room (a bit bigger than the standard room) for 10 EUR extra per night with access to the executive lounge. The lounge was nice. It is more like a little dining room or cafeteria than a lounge but you have some drinks, coffee and fruits available.

The room : The room was nice and big with two single beds and a mini couch. Large “rangement” space. Big bathroom. Located on the 1st floor with windows facing the XXX Platz. Tons of international TV channels. A few little downsides : could be a bit cleaner, only one pillow per bed, weak WIFI, could hear the people upstairs walking, bathtub/shower has a moveable glass window that makes the water splash everywhere on floor and sink.

Good value for money overall. I would stay here again.

The Hotel is located at the very heart of Vienna. Yet, it is off the noisy ring and 3 inutes walk from Vienna Opera House, 2 and half minutes walk form a famous Mozart Cafe located in front of the Opera House. It is also two minutes walk away from Vienna main shopping district and for the night person - also 3 minutes walk from Sky Cafe open till late and Saint Stepens Cathedral you can observe Vienna from its high tower.
Parking? No problem. You can park in front of the hotel till 9 am or park under the Vinna Opera House public parking that you will reimbursed back from the hotel on anything over 25 euros per day

Room Tip: Choose rooms 605, or 503. That direction towards the platz in front of the hotel

The location of the hotel is excellent and most of the tourist attractions are near the hotel . It is close to the metro station .The rooms are very small but clean. The lobby is very small. The breakfast is good and varied.

The hotel is located near the center of Wien and in walk distance of almost everything. Good value for money but the breakfast need a little more quality in the products they offer. The bad thing is that everybody asked from us to be careful because there is a lot of bag steeling activity in the hotel.
