It felt like home from the moment we arrived, there was cake, strawberries, fizz and a beautiful vase of roses! It is a lovely character property set in the heart of the community, overlooking a market square where you can purchase veg, cheese and bread. Within 5 minutes walking distance, there are a number of small supermarkets (Billa) selling a good range of produce.
It is 10 minutes from the railway station and underground - both very economic and easy to use. We didn't have a car, so made good use of public transport - Bratislava can be reached in one hour by train. As keen walkers, we enjoyed walking into the heart of the city - 20 minutes. The area felt very safe and the local people were very friendly too. There are some good places to eat to suit all tastes and budgets, including a couple on the market square itself.More
