We visited Hotel Zur Tenne for our second time this Thursday. We were seated in the Winter Garden (the conservatory area) which has a lovely view of Kitzbuhel. From the start of the evening the service was impeccable, our waiter was absolutely lovely, chatting to us about the food on the menu for the evening and about our time in Kitzbuhel. I had the Tuna Carpaccio to start, which was incredibly fresh and served with capers, pine nuts and small amounts of cream cheese, flavours which all worked very well together. My partner had the beef consommé, which smelt amazing and he said was wonderful. For our mains we had the parmesan and white truffle tagliatelle, and my partner had the Ox fillet, which he said was the best fillet he'd ever had. Likewise my pasta dish was amazing. We ended up with three desserts to share, Crème Brule, Apple Strudel and a sort of pancake dessert which our waiter told us was a traditional tyrolean dish, all were fantastic, especially the pancake!! We had an amazing evening, and this was by far our favourite place to eat in Kitzbuhel. The service really impressed us too, as some other places we found service to be lacking. For what received, the price was very reasonable.
