Yes, it is a Sound of Music Tour, but it wasn’t as interactive as it could have been. There wasn’t as much to do on the tour other than follow the guide on his bike, and he tended to go way faster than the rest of our small tour group of seven. You do see some of the classic sights and locations from the Sound of Music film, and get some stories about the production - some of the stories a bit garrulous and a little off-colour, but otherwise quite fun and interesting. Having done a few different walking and cycling tours in cities around Europe, this one was a bit disappointing. It was raining for our tour, but being late June, it was not cold and all participants were OK with getting wet, and the tour company did provide rain ponchos for those without raincoats. I felt that the route needed some more work, and some more stopping places of interest.
