We visit the Therme regularly for day trips, and this time decided to stay at the hotel for a weekend getaway. Everything at the hotel is amazing! The food is superb, the rooms flawless and comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful. For kids especially, little touches like setting up a bed guardrail, and a kids-size bathrobe waiting upon arrival, not to mention the GREAT food options for kids and ease of getting to the pools (much nicer to go just go through the hotel than from the outside; be able to come back to room easily, etc). Could not find one flaw to the hotel.

We visited this hotel as a girls weekend away and had a wonderful stay. They allowed us an early check-in and the rooms were spacious with a great view of the mountains. From the UK, I was very excited to wake up to snowfall the next morning.

They give you trendy electronic bands that give you access to the spa area and you are able to load money onto it to purchase refreshments around the complex. Robes and slippers are provided in the bedrooms.

Beautifully appointed complex, two large pool areas, plenty of bed availability with lots of nice secret corners and locations to escape it all and relax. This spa has all the hidden gems of a good European spa, body scrub for the steam room, Swedish sauna techniques (fluffing the air to warm it up) Infrared saunas (similar to our hotbox detox ones) and lots of nice outside plunge and Jacuzzi areas.

We spent the day in and out of the sauna/steam and having refreshments.

Our price included lunch, dinner, breakfast and full use of the spa. Lunch was buffet and very enjoyable. Dinner was buffet too and the prosecco was reasonably priced at $5. We sat in the lounge bar, listening to the live musician, enjoying a few drinks happily bought to us by the friendly barman.

Being from the UK, we found the compulsory naked sauna/steam/spa areas and the clear window from the bathroom into the bedroom very intimidating. We were travelling as friends but even with a partner I would like to go to the toilet alone! I found the naked sauna areas liberating but my friend didn't like it.

Very relaxing and quiet spa. Ideal environment for a spa break. We didn't want to leave.

We got the train into Villach main station and took a taxi for €10+ approx.

We stayed for more than a week during the Christmas break till the New year, the apartment we stayed in (one bedroom) is clean. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant has enough choices to fill you up. The location is great, near the shopping center ATRIO, restaurants and the ski areas like Gerlitzen and Dobratsch. It’s a good base. The receptionists are friendly and helpful.

- the thermal pool is noisy and brutally crowded since it’s open to the public or let’s say “day tourists”- I have nothing against that since it’s “money money money “,but the management should make an effort to limit the number of people coming in, you can’t enjoy it at all. For the hotel guests though go early when they open at 8am before the crowd starts coming in. And the loading areas both front and back side are full of overnight parked cars, again it’s money money money/ the management seems not wanting to offend their other customers so parking everywhere is allowed though there are signs saying no parking and there are pay parking areas and parking areas for guests so can’t understand why you see these cars parked in places in the “Verboten” areas.

So, it comes down to enforcing the rules to everyone no exemptions. But money money money.....

Had a great room with plenty of room. The reception had nothing lacking providing an easy to follow map of parking and complex. The breakfast had some limitations in hot food but plenary of cereal options. Location is good if you want to swim all day but if you want to get into villach centre or anywhere else you will need a car. Wifi is also very good.

We went here for the day, as we have been to many Austrian and German swimming pools and thermal swimming pools and found them to be excellent. This was clean and tidy, but we found the area of the swimming pools actually quite small for the size of the complex. It i also spread over several levels - the 25m pool, is on a floor above the main swimming pool area.
