We went to this restaurant/farm as part of a tour with our Uniworld cruise of the Danube. The farm is up above Linz in the hills, so there is a beautiful view once you get up there. The cows greeted us as we arrived, and we were escorted to the restaurant by the owner Klaus. We had a simple but delicious farmer's lunch of fresh cheeses, bacon, dumplings and vegetables. Accompanying our meal were samples of several of the different ciders that are made on the farm. My favorite was a sparkling cider that was better than champagne.
