“An apartment with an exceptional view”

This was our third visit to Gibraltar and our second visit to this apartment. The apartment ìs very clean and well thought out and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The lovely sandy beach is just below the apartment balcony. There are not many places where you can sit and have your meals watching the ships go by. What a vìew!!!

The gentleman who looks after the apartment Albert, gives you a very warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for him.

On arrival we found a welcome pack of bread, eggs ham, cheese and even a bottle of wine.

There is now wifi in the apartment and we found this extremely useful.

You can catch a number 8 or 4 bus right outside the complex into the town. As the apartment is only rented out to over 55 year olds then a senior hopper bus ticket at £1.20 was great. You can hop on and off all the buses all day with this ticket. The only exception is the number 5 bus where you can't use this ticket.

Great in every way. Roomy, spotless and very comfortable.Right on the beach, my daughter swam every day even though mid November, lovely and sunny.Well out of each of the Levanter! The new beach groynes are very successful.Buses twice an hour, very quick and convenient. Several very good restaurants in Catalan Bay, and of course many in town. The temptation to eat too much was hard to resist. A generous welcome pack and a local supermarket associated with Waitrose delivers!

“A welcome return visit to this peaceful place”
Reviewed 2 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Second visit to this lovely apartment and we enjoyed it again. Clean, comfortable and well furnished. Since our last visit, a different local representative has been found to look after the apartment and guests in the owner's absence, and he (Albert) is just as helpful as his predecessors - nothing was too much trouble to ensure that we were pleased and happy.

First time visitors need to be aware that cell/mobile signals are often poor at Both Worlds, and steps do have to be negotiated to reach apartments on this level of thecomplex.

“WONDERFUL STAY”
Reviewed 2 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

My husband and I had read the very good reviews of this apartment and can only say that we were not disappointed. We cannot speak highly enough of the apartment. The rooms are large and airy and decorated to a very high standard and so clean. There are comfy sofas in the lounge with TV and DVD plus air con which makes relaxing comfortable. A nice dining area and fitted galley kitchen with every mod con you could need for any length of stay. The bedroom again with air con, has a large comfortable bed. Off the bedroom there is another room (a dressing room) with fitted wardrobes and sofa which was great for spreading out. And yet another room out the back with a huge fridge freezer which was useful for our week's food. The balcony was our favourite - large area overlooking the sea with comfortable chairs (padded cushions in the back room) where you can relax and watch the shipping and if you are lucky (as we were one day) the dolphins. We were met by Albert who was a great help and settled us in and was always willing to help if you had any problems. He very kindly took us back to the airport so we didn't have to worry about a taxi. The bus service was very regular and stopped right outside reception and with a "senior hoppa" at £1.20 getting you anywhere on Gibraltar all day you can't go wrong! We did go down to Catalan Bay to eat one day and it was ok. There is a choice of about three restaurants plus the hotel. There are so many places to eat in town and it only takes 10 minutes on the bus - just have to remember the last bus is 9pm.

We can't recommend this apartment enough but in a way are loathe to do so as we want to come back and it might be full up!!

Our contact with Sandra on booking and confirmations, deposits etc was easy and quick. In fact we had only been back three days and our deposit was returned.

We have travelled extensively over the years and can honestly say this is one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. Can't wait to come back.
