We stayed for a week at the beginning of June, this was our first holiday as a family of 4 with our two girls aged 4 and 11 months. The recently completed refurb meant the rooms were fantastic and really spacious, we had paid extra for a sea view and were not disappointed. It’s hard to pick what was best, the pool was great with a long shallow slope down to the main bit which meant the girls could play safely in a really big space, the pool was also pretty much always quiet. The food was lovely with great variety, having stayed all inclusive in a number of places this was certainly one of the best. The bar staff and drinks were again fantastic, so welcoming and friendly and great choices! The animation team completely stole the show from morning to late at night they were absolutely awesome, Maddie, Grace and Anis and the rest couldn’t have been better and they certainly had a new super fan in our eldest. Will definitely return for more, oh and I nearly forgot the sunsets picture perfect!!!

Returned after two weeks in June. Our first time in this lovely hotel, but not the last. Reception staff were always available with a smile. Even management ate in the restaurant with the guests and always took time to ask if we were happy. Special thanks to George and Christiana and sweet little Natia, for their humour in the restaurant. Anis, Grace and Maddy were amazing and the shows were very good. Of course not to forget Eleanor who becomes like a friend with her hospitality. Then Biset the barman. Thank you all so much, see you next year, love to you all. Dorothy and Colin x

We just stayed in Atkeon village, from the 17th to the 27th of June 2018, I am writting this review as I wait for my transfer back to the airport.

Let’s start with the positives!
- on arrival, staff were excellent, we arrived late night and the staff showed us where our room was, and also we had a cold dinner waiting in the fridge, excellent first impression, even when the first contact with staff was the male entertainer wearing female swimming costume on top of his clothes, drink in hand, welcoming us to Spain . 80’s experience...
- The rooms are just refurbished, really espacious and comfortable, new floor, shower, kettle and mini bar, hair drier, plasma tv and air conditioning The views were really nice and it was close tho the main facilities as I requested, brilliant!
If you want a little advice for improvement, a full length mirror would be handy for the ladies and a cabinet on top of the basin, also a little shelf near the shower to put soap, gel, shampoo... that would be perfect.
- Free wi-fi all around, amazing, worked just perfect and never let us down.
- Most of the staff, the repection team are brilliant, Biser at the Bar and Chris at the restaurant, thank you for everything.
- Pool area, just amazing, huge clean swimmingpool with a massive garden and enough umbrellas and sun beds. The best asset of the hotel.

So up to now, I would have scored 5 stars, however there were some issues that were really annoying and that is why we think the hotel, even with all this potential, is average, and it all comes down to SERVICE.

Let’s mention the areas to be improved, from my point of view.

- We had no other choice but to book the All inclusive package, and in my opinion, the hotel is not offering enough to get good value for money. The food at the snack bar is very limited, poor and basic, drinks are not very good, and only one diet drink, that was Pepsi. We would have chosen to have a snack instead of lunch buffet if we had found it a bit more attractive, but it was not the case. Also, I ordered a tomato and onion salad, and I asked for a bit of feta cheese( which I know they have in the bar kitchen as they do feta salad) and I was told that they would do it today, but not tomorrow because the chief did not like it... the lady, Eleni was very nice and polite, but I don’t think a bit of feta cheese on a side should be a problem, at all...I discussed this issues with the management on my second day.

- Dinner buffer, some days were brilliant, like the Greek day, and international day, and some others were not as good as the Mexican ( first time I see guacamole without avocado) and the Italian night, how can you get Italian food wrong?

- Breakfast, continental, nothing out of this world, but what really annoyed me was the rude young lady, who was at the show coocking doing the eggs. She had an attitude when I asked her to flip some eggs for me, and she kept braking the yolks, but I chose the eggs that were not broken, then she muttered some words in Cypriot which I did not understand, but I could see by her body language and expression that it was not anything nice. Anyway, I could not see what the problem was, I did not ask for lobster, I asked for eggs the way I like them, flipped, not snotty, and not broken, if that is a problem for a professional cook who is on a show cooking , and you cannot do it with a smile, you might as well everything inside, because you just lost all the value of having a show cooking in your establishment. In general , F&B staff need more training, as there is a mixture of very professional members of staff and others that don’t have the knowledge or skills, so there is a lot to do, I am afraid.

Considering our overall experience, I think the hotel doesn’t yet deserve a 4 star category, but had a lot of potential.

I visited this hotel with husband and two grown up children. The children had their own beautiful rooms. Lovely views and large balcony.
Reception staff couldn't be more helpful, giving advice, booking trips, booking cabs etc. Special mention to Emmet and Tom, especially Emmet who even brought his Apple watch charger in from home so my daughter could charge her watch...he was even able to show her how to change the setting so she could swim with the watch on! Food was lovely cocktails too easy to drink. Grace and Maddy amazing (Thanks for the chat with Niamh Grace about travelling...she is planning to go off with her boyfriend in March 2019) also a special mention to the lady in the shop who was always helpful drawing her maps of places we needed to get to. Also a mention to the pool barman, who always had a smile and a chat, sorry Niamhs name confused you!!
A lovely relaxing break...and I wish I was still there.
Enjoy the rest of the season guys xxx
