Having never booked a villa holiday before we were slightly nervous about whether the villa and service provided would actually be any good but as soon as we arrived we were all so impressed. This spacious villa is nicely decorated with large living space and bedrooms. The pool was a perfect size for the 5 of us (including 1 over-excited teenager) and although the property was in quite close proximity to neighbouring houses we never felt overlooked at all.
There are air conditioning units in each room which was a god-send during the 30 degree heat of the day and night. Wifi is available along with Sky TV should that be of interest to you. All the major appliances such as the oven, washing machine etc have instruction manuals in a helpful visitor's folder. Lots of towels were provided by the owners so you shouldn't need to take your own, there was a hair dryer too.
The owners kept my husband up-to-date in the lead up to our holiday with info such as how to get in to the property and arranged our taxi from/to the airport (Alpha Taxis - highly recommend using them too). A welcome pack was left in the fridge for us of bread, milk, cereal, tea and coffee.
Villa was located a short walk from a mini-mart for simple groceries, a pharmacy and medical centre. 20 mins walk from Paphos Harbour where you can find lots of shops and restaurants. Aphrodite Waterpark and the Go-Karting Centre are a short taxi journey (we booked with Alpha Taxis for those journeys as we were so impressed with them).
A couple of things to note for newbies to this villa:
If trying to pick up a cab - for example from the harbour - we found almost all the drivers had no clue how to get to the villa so my husband ended up acting as a human SatNav for them. So it may be best if you keep Google Maps or a screen shot of directions at the ready for them!
Secondly, a chap will probably turn up to clean the pool and water the garden at some point during your stay so don't be alarmed if you come down to breakfast one morning and see someone in the garden...and maybe avoid topless sunbathing if that's your thing :-)
I've just returned from a weeks stay in this beautiful airy villa. I found it to be very clean and had all the modern conveniences you would need. It's close to local shops for your daily needs and the pool is lovely and clean and a delight to use. It was a perfect base for our stay in Cyprus as it was quite close to the harbour, taking us about twenty five minutes to walk to there.
Really good villa - lovely and clean and in a quiet location but still easy walk to promenade. Only criticism was no hot water in the morning due to solar heating of water. Apparently there was an immerser heater but we couldn't find it. Really good welcome pack of tea/coffee/biscuits etc. Good clean pool and very relaxing stay
