What a hidden treasure. On the way to our accommodation from the airport we got a bit lost and ended up in the middle of local housing and there at the crossroads was this little oasis. We had been recommended to use a nearby pub for a quick snack on arrival so we got back to finding our accomodation, set our bags down and headed for the recommended pub. We couldnt have been more un-welcomed, so we walked out without ordering and got back inthe car and drove back to this taverna. When we got there, they were closing up. On seeing us and at our asking they happily invited us to sit down and they re-opened the kitchen to cook for us. What a fantastic service, so friendly, very little English spoken but this was no barrier to the excellent all round experience. You are given a list of food, which is basically the menu, and you are given a pen and you tick what you want. Such a great selection and when it arrivedm ti was fresh and tasty. We returned on a Saturday evening with more friends and luckily we arrived early, as we had not booked and were lucky to be seated as the place was heaving with locals and regulars by 8:30.
