Just retuned from our first visit and would definitely recommend. The hotel is one of the nicest we have stayed in. Room was amazing as we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite. A great selection of food and was of the highest standard. Staff couldn’t do enough to help and location was perfect.

We have been coming to this hotel since 2018 and once again had a fabulous stay. The hotel is close to the centre (10/15 mins walk) and very close to the beach. Sunbeds are allocated for the duration of your stay. The staff are amazing and special thank you to Xenia and her team who always welcome us with a massive smile. The food is excellent and as mentioned by other guests, the Cyprus night is fantastic. A big thank you must also go to the Kanika All Stars (Sarah, Matt, Alexandra, Lauren & Dista), all are amazing with games during the day and most evenings an excellent show.
I would recommend the hotel and hope to be back next year.

Our 10th stay at Alexander the Great, and it just keeps getting better each time!
We simply love returning to this hotel—it truly feels like a home away from home. This year was even more special as we celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday, making the holiday extra memorable!
From the moment we arrive, we feel immediately at ease. The front desk team are always welcoming and friendly, and it’s comforting to see familiar faces greeting us as soon as we step in.
The restaurant team is outstanding! Led by Xenia, the front-of-house hostess, you couldn’t ask for a warmer or more welcoming presence when you arrive for breakfast and dinner. She’s always full of smiles and goes out of her way to make your stay perfect!
The restaurant staff works tirelessly, from breakfast in the morning to dinner in the evening, many of them also covering lunch service. A special thanks to Adi, who went above and beyond to take care of us! Claudia was also fantastic—though she was new and arrived halfway through our holiday, she was incredibly helpful and attentive to our every need.
The pool bar team is simply fantastic. Antonis and Yoanna took excellent care of us, always checking in for drink and food orders. It was a pleasure catching up with them each day!
The entertainment team—Matt, Alex, Lauren, and Sarah—wonderful! They offer a huge range of daytime activities, including table tennis, darts, and bowling. Our boys absolutely love the whole team! The evening shows are spectacular, with performances like The Greatest Show, Grease, and Cher, getting better each year! On other nights, the hotel brings in external acts like illusionists, singing duos, and saxophonists.
The hotel has recently undergone a high-quality refurbishment, and all areas are spotless and immaculate. The bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed with tea and coffee facilities, plus a well-stocked minibar.
The sunbed allocation system works perfectly, eliminating the need to rush early in the morning to secure a spot. You can choose where you’d like your beds (subject to availability), and they’re yours for the entire stay, but you’re also free to move them if you wish.
Flawia and the Guest Relations team are always on hand to assist with any inquiries throughout your stay.
Finally, Mr. Demitris, the hotel manager, is constantly present, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

We had a great stay at Alexander the Great! It was our first holiday as a family with our 6 month old and could not fault anything.
The staff were so friendly and attentive and the hotel and rooms were impeccably clean. We stayed in a sea view room and the outlook was amazing. The sunsets from the room and the pool bar are something not to be missed!
There was always a good selection of food on offer and the al a carte restaurants were lovely.
The location of the hotel is perfect. We enjoyed our walks to the harbour most days and all amenities were within walking distance. There is also a pharmacy and a small shop across the road which always come in handy!
We will definitely be returning in the future.
