Visiting at a busy time of year the hotel (and pool / buffet) was inevitably full of small people (mainly Brits) and the noise, mess and sunbed grabbing that goes along with this group. Our children are now senior school age so we were in a minority. Now would not be the time to come for a quiet couples holiday.
This said the hotel had very good staff apart from one or two minor exceptions, the food was excellent in both Notios and the seafront restaurant and the buffet was pretty good most evenings. We also tried the sushi restaurant which was great. There is a lot of Japanese food available at hotel - which we love so this was a big plus.
Rooms are minimalist white with dark furniture. Some bright artwork would be good IMO but just my view. Beds were comfortable and everything clean and tidy. A walk in shower would be better than the small bath and shower curtain.
We visited the archeological park - well worth the visit - but kept to the hotel the rest of the time. Paphos itself is not the prettiest place but feels safe and friendly when out and about. Overall a very good place for a family holiday, especially if your children are small.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review and for sharing your valuable feedback.

You are correct that your visit was during a very family oriented time, the demographics here change a lot depending on the season.

We are very pleased that you had an overall enjoyable stay and hope to serve you again in the future.

Best regards,
Stelios Moustakis

Me and my boyfriend came here for 10 days at the end of June - start of July. We fell in love with Paphos and Almyra topped it off. As soon as our taxi pulled up at the front of the hotel there was staff waiting to greet us and take our suitcases! The check in was quick and welcoming and our room was really nice. The rooms are really simple but modern and contemporary and that’s our kinda thing so we loved them... very spacious. The only thing I would comment on is that we had an interconnecting room which at first was a dissapointment as we were worried because we didn’t know the people next door and you can actually fully lock the door. We decided to keep our suitcases in front of the door the whole time and we never had a problem and the door was never opened until we had a family with a little kid stay in that room and the little kid opened the door! Didn’t really bother us we just laughed it off.... but when we come again next time we will definitely ask for a non interconnecting room. In the day we always stayed by the infinity pool because it was adults only and we had a lovely view...I got up at 8am every morning to put towels on the beds have breakfast and come back.... this was never a problem! The food was lovely and plenty of Choice. I recommend trying the vanilla milkshake by the pool.... it’s amazing! I would defiantly stay at almyra again as it was wonderful and we couldn’t fault it. We are in fact coming to paphos again this year but we are staying at the other end.

Also almyra is in a great location! Close to restaurants, bars and shops and also the waterpark!

Can’t wait to stay again :)

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, lovely seaview room, sumptuous breakfast. Great choice of swimming pools, location at the centre of activities, I would definitely go back here again. Almyra is suitable for couples or family , enjoyed the tranquility of satching the sea view and the beautifully landscaped trees.

Room Tip: Choosing a sea view is an added plus.

We couldn't find fault with this hotel. It was clean everywhere, the staff were friendly, efficient and very attentive. The location of the hotel was fantastic, a few minutes' walk from the harbour, with quite a lot of bars and restaurants close by, although the food in the restaurant was excellent.

Once again all the staff at this friendliest of hotels were on top form. Another great holiday thanks mainly to their standard of hospitality.
Because of its close proximity to the sea and the easy walk to the promenade and harbour, it will always be a favourite of mine.
