My husband and I stayed at Le Priolet for a week with another couple of friends. We arrived very late on the Saturday after ferry delays but we were warmly met by the English speaking caretaker who acquainted us with the property - and what a beautiful place it is! We were delighted with all aspects of the villa, it is light and spacious and very well equipped for dining in, or partaking in a BBQ in the delightful gardens. The property is right on the banks of the Dordogne river, and the spacious and well maintained gardens include a large swimming pool and terrace, as well as tables and chairs for dining 'Al Fresco'. There is a small shop in the village just five minutes walk away for fresh bread and basics and the nearby town, 10 mins drive away, has a good supermarket for all other requirements. A great location for exploring this lovely region and visiting the wine Chateaux and St Emilion, Le Priolet offers seclusion and tranquility whilst being accessible to the attractions of the area. We loved our stay.....
