The hotel ís overall good. I tried two kind of rooms. one ordinary and the other one room for disabled. Big difference, the disabled room is wheelchair--accessible.
The breakfast is good, and you can bake your own waffles.
Tried the food one lunch time, was not that great, very overcooked fish.
Great view from the business center at the top floor. Recommend everybody to go up there for some photos....
A bit overprice this hotel, but the staff is friendly and very helpful.

I was in room 403, which must have been the smallest room in the entire country. I cannot even remember when I had slept in a tiny single bed for over €150 a night before. The personnel were friendly and welcoming and the fact that the hotel is such a poor value for money is not their fault. Sadly, there is not much choice in the capital city of the Faroe Islands!

We booked this hotel some months ago. Tonight we went to bed at 2300 hours. At 0015 hours awoken to loud banging noises above our room. Assumed we had heavy footed neighbors, but we were to realize this was the noise of the live band setting up above us. Very very loud music started at 0045am and is still going after 0300am. Hotel staff were ineffective in sorting a solution - HOW CAN YOU SELL A WEDDING WITH LOUD AFTER PARTY GOING UNTIL THE WEE SMALL HOURS AND AT THE SAME TIME SELL HOTEL ROOMS TO OTHER GUESTS WHO ARE PAYING TO SLEEP? An impossible situation for those who paid to sleep. I advise anyone planing on a weekend visit to avoid this hotel at all costs.
In addition so many drunk and loud people walking below the hotel yelling and signing. It is worse than torture.
No sleep tonight robs us of a full day of our Faroe Island Holiday.

A good hotel, standard style, nothing fashionable. Good beds. We had dinner in the restaurant one night, more than decent. Good traditional Scandinavian style breakfast. Seemed to be a bit understaffed on weekends, but helpful, and let us use a meeting room in the reception area for a couple of small meetings without charge. Nice cafe by the reception seving light meals, open late. Some street noise on weekend nights.

Room Tip: Noise level on weekend nights depend on room location, some noise if facing street

I really liked the position of this hotel, just a minute from the harbour and centre of Torshavn and 4-5 minutes walk from the bus station and ferry terminal. Impressive reception area, large well-appointed rooms, attentive and helpful staff and substantial and varied breakfast if you want it. I would settle for this standard anywhere I go in the world though you can find substantially better value in different parts of the world as far as cost goes. Scandinavia is generally expensive for most things in relative terms. I would gladly stay here again.
