A good value for money hôtel with obliging staff. Rooms are perhaps a bit austere and lift very narrow. But the main advantage of this hôtel is its location, if you take a room on the seafront you can enjoy a small or medium loggia with a splendid view on the Harbour and on the capital of Malta : Valetta (La valette) so do not hesitate to take this kind of room (even if you must pay a bit more. It is also well situated for cruises, tours and bus with departures just in front of the hôtel. To achieve a very good compromise, we recommand strongly this establishment.

Room Tip: Rooms on the seafront with splendid view but perhaps a bit more noisy, not a real problem with air conditionning

Hotel has an excellent location and a great sea view especially at nights. A good spot to stay if you want to visit all other parts of the country. İt has friendly staff also. But unfortunately the rooms for one are too small.

Room Tip: I don't recommend the rooms for one person for the future visitors of hotel.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks, which we chose primarily for its location on the seafront, near to the ferries and bus stops. We had a large ensuite seaview room on the second floor with a balcony which afforded spectacular views of Valletta, Manoel Island and the bay, though these views were even more spectacular from the hotel roof. Our room had a kettle, hairdryer, safe, flat screen TV and efficient air conditioning which we needed to use as it was much hotter in Malta than we expected it to be in October. The hotel restaurant is on the 8th floor and some days there were tables outside on a little balcony which gave marvellous views. Breakfast was sausages, eggs cooked various ways, several breads and cakes, cheeses, cold meats, cereals fruit and yoghurt. There were hot drinks and fruit juices and the meal was self service. The staff were very attentive and quick to clear tables, in fact throughout the hotel we found the staff helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned every day and our sheets were changed every couple of days, plus clean towels too. The only downside was the bath which was old and rusty around the plughole, the sheets which weren't fitted so not so comfortable and the room lacked storage for clothes. There was one tiny wardrobe with a few hangers and a shelf above, half of which was taken up by the safe. There were bedside units with one drawer and a shelf but we did have to leave a lot of clothes in our cases. The room was very large so could have easily accommodated a chest of drawers or larger wardrobe. Having said that we had a wonderful holiday and would stay here again if we came to Sliema. There is also a jacuzzi on the ninth floor but we didn't use it. There was a room on the top floor with a pool table and books left by guests but I'm not sure if it was in use. We caught glimpses of other rooms when they were being cleaned and they did look small but then they were cheaper so I guess it's a question of you get what you pay for. The seaview rooms are definitely the best, oh and the curtains are thick too so the light doesn't wake you up early. There are many restaurants and a few mini markets near by. There's also a man with a fruit and veg van who stops outside the hotel most of the day and into the evening and a little pastizzerie a few minutes walk away up one of the side streets.

Good location with spectacular view over Sliema harbour. Only a footstep away from ferry to Valletta. The room with terrace overlooking the harbour was spacious and well equipped, and no end to good restaurants around to have meals. Oh yes there are more luxurious places to stay, but at the price we paid we were more than happy to choose for the Sliema Marina. Will go back any time.

Room Tip: Be sure to book room overlooking harbour. Other rooms may be quieter, but view on frontside is well worth the extra.

Book a room with sea view at a reasonable extra payment. You will not regret. You will see immaculate Valletta view and Castle where Ottomans conquered and retreated at Dragut (Turgut Reis) Point.Breakfast is not perfect but a feast with the view at terrace.

Room Tip: Rooms with sea view is essential.
