We ate here several times during our stay on Gozo and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Particularly recommend the steaks and ribs, but the Indian menu is very nice too. Portions are huge and never managed to finish a meal, which did feel a little wasteful, although we found generous servings to be typical of Gozo.
The restaurant location is lovely, with tables on the edge of the sea giving gorgeous views.
Special mention also to the lovely smiling lady who greets diners. She made us feel so welcome, went to trouble to find us a nice table, and gave us complimentary drinks after she recognized us from previous visits.
Our favourite restaurant on Gozo and highly recommended.

On holiday in Malta we hired a car to visit Gozo, and having heard about the gorgeous bay at Marsalforn, we enjoyed a visit to beach and walked around the bay for some lunch. Some of the places looked beautiful but the prices were a little high for a spot of light lunch with two young children.

The menu at Kohinoor instantly appealed with a variety of light bites, and we walked in. If I'm honest, whist some of the restaurants we had walked past did look nicer with regards tables and table furnishings, there is one thing Kohinoor has that the others don't; it sits on the very edge of the bay, and you can see the fish swimming in the shallow water. The waitress brought over some bread so our children could feed them, and their day was made!

The food itself was very nice, and good value. My wife and I both enjoyed the Gozo platter, and this was a wonderful lunch.

Our only negative and something to look out for is that the restaurant immediately up the hill has either a washing machine or dishwasher whose waste water runs just to the edge of the outdoor section in a small channel, but it can run under the tables at edge. It soaked a bag we had on the floor with water, and while it was clean (you could tell from the bubbles), it wasn't ideal. Still, you can't argue with gravity, and it was from the adjacent restaurant so I'm not sure what they can be expected to do about it, and this is only a minor point.

Lovely food, service, and a stunning view, but the highlight was watching our children feed the fish. A rare treat while enjoying a meal. A wonderful visit.

We were abit sceptical about dining at an Indian / Mediterranean restaurant but we have it a try.

The Indian menu is vast however the naan bread was okay but not fluffy. The chicken ticca was okay too but we had better. Husband had rabbit which was okay too but not wow. Pizza on the other hand was not good (there are better places for pizza other than this).

The portions and prices are reasonable won't come here again though.

Thank you to the lovely lady owner and her husband the chef.
She was always smiling and welcoming. The restaurant offers a an individual Indian menu and Mediterranean menu. We had two Indian meals there whilst on holiday and each time the meals were very tasty and delicious. Free poppadoms and chutneys to start as many as you want. A great choice of excellently served Indian food, very popular and the food amazing. Met Amy the owners little girl who was also lovely. Great place.

Our English dive guide recommended us to come. Was a bit sceptical but after days of grills we decided to have a change, and was not disappointed. We were so happy that we went back the next evening. Service is friendly and there are tables just by the sea. Apparently the husband and cooks are from India.
