“Great size farmhouse”
Reviewed 30 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

This farmhouse is great for a group of people as quite big and plenty of space! The pool area is lovely (its recently been made bigger than in the photos) with plenty of loungers, and also the balcony & view. There is a bus stop outside which is handy but would really recommend hiring a car & getting to all the beaches/inlets or even just getting lost in Gozo! From my 1st enquiry the owner was very helpful and I would use again.

How easy was key pickup/access to the property? Overall condition of the property

Liked best: The pool area
Liked least: traffic noise as so close to main road. Also the mattress & pillows not comfortable

“Wished we could have stayed longer”
Reviewed 28 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Walking into this farmhouse was like walking into another world, you will understand if you visit this villa. Rosella , the owner met us on arrival and made us most welcome, she also sorted out our transfers to and from the airport.

The farmhouse itself was beautiful, spacious, airy and most important 'clean and tidy'. There was 10 in our party and there was plenty room for us all. As for sunbathing, there is plenty of sunbeds and ample areas to eat round the poolside.

The position of the farmhouse i thought was great. The supermarket is less than a 2min walk, 2 great restaurants right on your doorstep, also a bus-stop again on your doorstep which is brilliant for getting around to visit other villages etc.. at the small cost of 2.50 euros for all day travel, on any bus.......superb.....don't see the point in hiring a car

If you decide to book your holiday at this farmhouse, i'm sure you will be thrilled when you walk through the door, we were

Thanks again to rosella

“Peaceful house to stay at”

Coming all the way down from Paris to Gozo, my 5 friends and I looked for a peaceful house to rest for two weeks.

We can't say we were disappointed when we got to Gharb and when we visited the house. There is absolutely no noise in the morning if you're of the ones who like to sleep late, and relaxing by the pool is just priceless.

I would definitely recommend that house to anyone who would like to spend a nice time in Gozo. Moreover, the owner of the house will do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and that's always a good thing.

“Beautiful maltese house, great view, peaceful, with all amenities on your doorstep - a great place to experience Gozo!”
Reviewed 28 October 2012 for a stay in September 2012

Rosella made us feel welcome from the moment we reached Gozo. The house is tucked quietly away down a side street, but when you open the door there's a wonderful old Gozitan house behind, with stone beams, maltese tiles and large rooms - light and airy but still quite cool in the heat of the summer - and there are fans and aircon if you need them.
There's a terrace with a great view of the sea and of Ta'Pinu church, and on the other side of the house a private garden with a pool that's not overlooked at all- so if you like lazing about (which we did- a lot!) you can do it all day long either in the sun or the shade.

Jeffrey's restaurant & cafe and Lighthouse supermarket are within a couple of minutes walk, as is the bus to Victoria & Dwejra. Parking's easy and the modern road between Gharb and Victoria means you can drive to the capital in about 5 minutes (and nowhere in Gozo is very far...)

So, it's a great place to relax and unwind, and equipped with everything you'd expect - often we were happy just to laze about the house all day going from the pool to the terrace - but it'd also make a good base if you wanted to see Gozo's heritage (prehistoric temples, walled citadel, churches, inland sea) or beautiful uncrowded beaches (Ramla Bay is our favourite) -for such a tiny island there's plenty to see.

We had a great time here, and can't recommend it too highly.
