Te & Kaffi is the Icelandic version of Starbucks. Having said that it has better coffee and sandwiches, but the prices are higher. The service is great and friendly. They do have wifi and a lot of people use Te & Kaffi as their ad hoc office (really).

There are several Te & Kaffi shops in Reykjavik, we were walking along Laugavegur and decided to get a coffee and pastry, and to take advantage of their free wifi. This Te & Kaffi is in a bookstore, along with a pastry/sandwich counter. There were more than enough tables for us get a spot near the window and to catch up on email and Facebook. Good coffee, good pastry, good service and fast wifi.....perfect stop.

Great coffee, and also I had a lovely Chai latte. Nice spot to seat in or even to grab and go, because it is well located at Laugavegur st. Also, I got a few souvenirs like magnets, postcards and one of the tale books about Iceland. Very nice spot!

We had a coffee Break in there. Concept Feels like its local Starbucks and they even serve "Frappe" - or maybe it was Frappo.

I took a piece of cake and Caramel Frappo (1.500 ISK) and my spouse had Tea.

Frappo was tastefull as well as a piece of cake. Tea is Tea.

Free Wi-Fi was terrible - it was so slow, that I couldnt open tripadvisor.

Overall good experience.

While wandering around downtown this is my usual place to stop for a coffee. What I like most about this place is because you can enjoy your time reading a book or magazine from the shop downstairs while sipping on your cup of chai latte which is my favorite here. What is even better they can make it with oat milk, so highly recomend on trying this one out. However I would advice to pay way more attention on the restroom cleanliness, as it was quite dirty and messy with tissues all over the place.
