We decided to go with Adventure Vikings because they were the only company offering wetsuit snorkelling in Silfra, as I find drysuits very uncomfortable. They warned us it would be freezing (water temps of 2 degrees Celsius) but I wasn’t expecting it to be that cold! Despite the shock of the cold, I still enjoyed the wetsuit as I had more freedom and movement to explore/ dive deep in my wetsuit then those in my group with drysuits. The only thing I would change would be to have separate groups for wet/dry suits or for dry suit people to be put in the water a few minutes ahead of wetsuiters as they moved much slower and it was hard to swim around to keep warm as recommended with the traffic jam of drysuiter in front of you! Definitely a great Iceland experience!
