My wife and I ate at Glo for dinner one night while in Reykjavik. We ordered a veggie burger and a veggie wrap and both were delicious. For both of our entrees and two drinks it was about 28$ USD. The atmosphere of the restaurant is modern and offers a nice view of the street and surrounding shops. If you're a vegetarian or vegan, or just looking to try new food, I highly recommend visiting Glo!

Stopped here on our way from EasyCamp for lunch and were very happy with the healthy and delicious food options. There’s a good bakery inside as well where we got our first tasty cinnamon rolls.

Went there with my family, two of us are vegetarians and we were really excited to try out this place.

First impressions are weird, you walk up a staircase(no disabled access) we were greeted by a grumpy blond girl behind the register, didn’t even say hello (even when said to her twice) Just waited for us to order and told us to wait. She stands there for about 5 min doing nothing and then starts preparing some take away dishes. Turned out they were ours, don’t know why she had to pause after we ordered....

She takes the payment and doesn’t react at all to our attempts to be nice and friendly to her.

We finally go and eat our food at our hotel and at the end it was not edilbe. They had guacamole that didn’t taste like guacamole, felt ranchid. Black beans were dry, the salad had dirt and even hair on it. Everything was horrible on our plates, down to the sweetcorn that tasted weird and was reslly hard!!

Dont go there, it’s not worth your money or your time :(

Enjoyed a nice veggie meal at GLO. I had the veggie burger with sweet potato fries and my husband had the Indian dahl bowl. Both meals were delicious. I agree with some other reviews saying GLO is not really a restaurant, but more a cafe. You order and pay and staff bring over your meal when ready.

Not vegan at all, but stopped for a quick lunch. Great ingredients, fresh salads. Very good job. Will definitely be back
