We were hungry having just returned from12 days doing the Ring Road tour. Harry’s was not too far from the hotel. No more expensive than anything else in Iceland. I had a pasta dish. Good portion. Nothing “Wow”. Others had seafood and were happy.
We got there around 6:30 on a Thursday with no reservations and were seated right away. Noise level was good for conversation with friends.

We went here for our end of holiday celebratory meal. Splashed out on a bottle of Malbec ( nothing is low cost in Iceland). Spring rolls for starter. I went for the fish and chips. Beautiful fish with tempura batter. My wife went for the lamb shank which was also delicious. Highly recommended.

Had the vegetable paste with white wine sauce. Fantastic. Salmon was to die for. Be sure to try the chocolate cake or cheesecake. Wow. Very attentive staff and friendly. They check up rather than ignore you once to food is served.

We visited this restaurant for dinner our first night in Reykjavik. The menu is a bit different, with a few Asian touches. They have some good-value set menus around $50/pp so that for just a bit more than the dinner entree costs, you can also have an appetizer and dessert. Each plate was presented well and felt special, and we enjoyed the grilled fish and beef tenderloin entrees. We also had very attentive service and the meal came at a good pace.

First, the service was excellent. We ordered a 3 course meal. We received our appetizer and a waiter came over to see how it was - which was very good (egg rolls). We then got our main dish. We had had ordered lamb with a bake potato. We were sharing the meal and they brought it out with two separate plates, already divided and presented very nicely. It was tender and had a wonderful flavor. Desert was again very tasty. We would definitely go back again. Throughout the meal the staff checked with us that the food was good, etc. This is located on the main street with all the shops so it is easy to find.
