Description: Cafe Haiti is by Reykjavik's Old harbor. We buy our coffee from farmers in Haiti. We roast the coffee in the shop and serve quality coffee as espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, latte, Arabic and Turkish coffee as well as tea and hot chocolate. Soups, cake´s and croissants as well as our fumes breakfast so if you are coming from the flight in the morning the stop and see us for breakfast and we also have good lunch and sandwiches. We also have food to go if you are going on the whale watching.

We ended up here based on a Google search for coffee houses open in the morning, imagine! Our flight arrived at 620am and coffee was next on the agenda after we picked up our rental car. So happy to have found this delightful little cafe. Ended up having bacon and eggs too!

What can I say! We are and drink here several times. The owner is very nice and actually Haitian. She can cook and imports her coffee beans. I fell in love with the place. Her infections smile is welcoming. She runs a class act small business.

We meet the owner of the shop. She was super friendly and made us a signature espresso for two. The shop had a unique look and was open early in the morning where other coffee shops were open later on. This was a perfect spot to grab a cup of Joe before heading out of town.

Dropped in as we were desperate for a drink during a looong walking session - the place looked inviting and we found Elda all smiles and warmth :) The artwork around the cafe is beautiful and the chai latte is wonderfully unique - the best we've ever had and we went back the next day for more.

We stopped her for breakfast the day we flew into Iceland. The food was good, the coffee was strong, and the décor of the place is cozy and warm. I would absolutely suggest stopping here, for a quick bite, while you are exploring Reykjavik.
