Everything the same as everywhere so you know what you are getting. Drinks were exceedingly expensive and the wifi was very slow to none existent.

Hello 836Cruisegirl,

Thank you for your review. Sorry about the ISK being so strong and overall the prices in Iceland as very expensive that we can agree too.

Sorry about the slow wife and hope to see you again at the Cafe.

All the best,

HRC

While spending 4 days in Reykjavik we found eating out very very expensive but found the hard rock café great value for money me, my girlfriend Gill (fae Dundee) and our friends Gary and Carol Devany both ''fae Dundee'' and local celebrities in the DD1 postcode area visited twice and found the whole experience 5 star.

The burgers were cooked to perfection and Gary (a Dundee United fan but receiving counselling) said it was the best burger he had ever tasted describing to the rest of us how his was cooked well done and the textures and juices were perfect and was probably the best burger he has EVER tasted.
The waitress was very polite and looked after our table well she told us she enjoyed living in Iceland after moving there from Cowdenbeath 2 years earlier she shares a bedroom with 16 other people ( I say room but she privately told me it was a corridor!) she also said she loved working at Hard Rock.
Great food great staff

I went out for a burger to celebrate a birthday, we sat for 90 minutes, in a corner. We got charged for everything even when we got a cold burger, a warm beer and no service except after having too stand up and find a waiter.
On a busy night, the loud noise is so bad you cant hear yourself think.

We are sorry that we were not up to standard in our visit. We have been working hard to get many things up to speed which it should 110%.
We will address this with our Operations managers.

We eat a this Hard Rock Cafe and as expected the food was really good. The only downfall was the service. Our waiter was initially attentive but when he handed over to a colleague we were forgotten about even though the venue wasn't busy - so that couldn't have been the excuse. The staff seemed to be more interested in talking amongst themselves and in the dark end we didn't bother ordering a dessert. Shame.

We visited Hard Rock Café with our teen. We went for the WORLD BURGER TOUR on the menu and we were all happy with our burger choices. The Staff were excellent despite how busy the place was and we felt well cared for. We had a walking in this time, little on the early side around 18:00, and we got seat in a good booth immediately. I strongly recommend booking in advance though - or if you turn up like us be prepared to wait for 10-20 minutes, while waiting you can browse through the Hard Rock shop on the ground floor.
