nice characterful room, not sure if I liked the fact that the guys in the room above had wooden-legs or brought a horse with wooden clogs(?) as review'd by others on here the floors/roofs seems very thin as the stomping managed to keep us up into the night.
NO info re breakfast-times at reception when checking-in
-I could of course have asked myself,so came in late for breakfast as this ends at 09:00 also could not find any useful info in room.. Sek: 960; for room inc.breakfast as of june-16

We have stayed here several times due to the city centre location ,Close to Vallarna(the open ampi teatre),and also what we Before considered as a romantic Place for stopover. However it is needed to be lot of maintenace here for filling up what the title says

Stayed at this hotel last weekend with family. Gut a triple room for the kids. Beds are OK, but the place looks better from outside than inside. Price is steep for being on the Swedish countryside at center of the city of Falkenberg as opposed to center Stockholm. Lots of stairs up and down, so choose room with easy access if you have difficulty walking. Noise travels in this hotel where you can hear the action in neighbouring rooms. The breakfast, included and served at The Grand next door was hearty though.

Check in was a hassle as you had to go to The Grand to get your room key.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with easy access if you have problems moving around as the staircases go both up and down just to get to the right floor. The interconnecting suite was ok size for three people.

The "hotel" has an old style to it, that could be considered charming. But the walls are thin and the floors are not soundproof whatsoever! I witnessed the snoring/sleep apnea of the guest upstairs the whole night and the process of him waking up. Obviously this isn't his fault, but this "hotel" needs to be redone to be able to keep many guests without the fragile walls and floors letting all sounds through. The breakfast was all the way at Grand Hotel and it was great though.. 200m away from Hwitan, but great!
