PROS The city-centre location opposite the railway station is excellent and the hotel itself is nice in a quirky way; after all it is called Fawlty Towers :-). The room was small but fresh and clean with a newly renovated bathroom and had everything required. Comfy bed and pillows. A nice touch was fans placed in the corridor that you could bring with you into the room as Sweden had a record breaking heat wave.

CONS Booking.com and the hotel had widely diverging information on reception opening hours so I had to wait a while before being let into the hotel. The room I was first checked into had not been cleaned, but that was just an honest mistake. No elevator. The breakfast could have offered a bit more choice and it would have been good to be able to get some food and drinks upon arrival. The MyCloud WiFi service was very unreliable and kept switching on and off and was also blocked on some sites so ended up mostly using 4G.

My family and I had a comfortable stay at Linkoping's Fawlty towers! Location was perfect, as we were travelling to our other destinations by train, and the train station was literally across the road from Linkoping Fawlty towers.

Quaint room with decoration, very clean. There was a small mishap with the rooms as we had ordered a family room but only 1 bed was made up. However a member of staff came round soon after and converted the couch into a bed!

Room tip: Family rooms are slightly bigger than normal rooms

Homeley feel. The rooms are warmly decorated. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but they have a very friendly offer for electric fans that you can pick up and return. Good breakfast, clean room and very near to the train station. Friendly staff. They do their best to make guests feel home, which I really appreciate.
Wifi not working very well. you have to be in the public areas to get good access. Sound proofing is minimal point, as you can hear your neighbors taking a shower .No elevator, quite uncomfortable when you have luggage that you ave to drag upstairs.

Room tip: Ask for room at the back of the hotel if you want to have a good sleep . The street in front of the hotel gets busy from 6:30AM .

Comfortable stay within walking distance to sights. Nice outside patio overlooking the parkway for coffee, reading, and conversation. Parking on-site. Interesting decor and historical feel. Reasonably-sized rooms and bed.

This is a different hotel. Obviously inspired by the TV series Fawlty Towers, it has an unusual interior decoration (piano, moose heads and a suit of armor in one of the stairs). The rooms are alright. Cosy in a special way. Kind of personal. One of the TV channels constantly show scenes from Fawlty Towers.
Service is excellent, breakfast is nice, and they have good bikes to rent for free when you stay at the hotel. Right across the street is a well equipped gym that is also included in the stay.
