PROS The city-centre location opposite the railway station is excellent and the hotel itself is nice in a quirky way; after all it is called Fawlty Towers :-). The room was small but fresh and clean with a newly renovated bathroom and had everything required. Comfy bed and pillows. A nice touch was fans placed in the corridor that you could bring with you into the room as Sweden had a record breaking heat wave.
CONS Booking.com and the hotel had widely diverging information on reception opening hours so I had to wait a while before being let into the hotel. The room I was first checked into had not been cleaned, but that was just an honest mistake. No elevator. The breakfast could have offered a bit more choice and it would have been good to be able to get some food and drinks upon arrival. The MyCloud WiFi service was very unreliable and kept switching on and off and was also blocked on some sites so ended up mostly using 4G.More
