Comfortable stay within walking distance to sights. Nice outside patio overlooking the parkway for coffee, reading, and conversation. Parking on-site. Interesting decor and historical feel. Reasonably-sized rooms and bed.

This is a different hotel. Obviously inspired by the TV series Fawlty Towers, it has an unusual interior decoration (piano, moose heads and a suit of armor in one of the stairs). The rooms are alright. Cosy in a special way. Kind of personal. One of the TV channels constantly show scenes from Fawlty Towers.
Service is excellent, breakfast is nice, and they have good bikes to rent for free when you stay at the hotel. Right across the street is a well equipped gym that is also included in the stay.

PLUS:
The position just near the station.
The overall cleaning of the hotel.
The breakfast was quite nice.
The staff.

MINUS:
It is a bit noisy especially if your neighbour decide to have a shower or watching tv in the middle of the night.
The wifi was not working at all.
In the room there was a boiler but no complementary coffee/tea.
There were no hair dryer and iron.

I really liked the old School look & feel Of this Hotel. Clean, quiet with a Victorian look. Well situated Near the bus & train terminal. Friendly And knowledgeable staff always ready to help. Delicious & wholesome breakfast. Wifi and murals & paintings reflecting a slower paced time when politeness was the norm and horses were used to transport things

The hotel is directly situated in front of the main station and one of the main roads in Linköping. The city centre is in walking distance and the reference to "Fawlty Towers" makes a wink to the famous British series, although not much is done to become that rude, clumsy or intriguing as the Fawlty Towers hotel of Basil, Sibyl, Polly and Manual.

However the rooms are sufficient, the staff is friendly, breakfast is delicious and free wifi present: not much to wish for, but maybe the interior (in middle age style) might need a bit of refurbishment.
