Nice centrally located hotel in Örebro.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The room was nice, reasonably sized, fresh and spotless clean. The only thing I missed was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. That really should be standard in any hotel.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. Fresh food, fresh fruit, orange juice, a large selection of hot & cold dishes.
Overall a pleasant stay.

Expensive, hot and I got a room that should never have been avaliable. Pick any other hotel in the town of Örebro and you will get at least the same if not better experience for less money.
The room had a constant background noise from some kind of generator, most likely connected with the relax-spa on top. It was always on which made it very difficult to sleep. When I complained about it, all other rooms were booked (true). But the staff seemed not the slightest surprised about it, they no doubt had heard that complaint before. So this hotel has issues when it comes to leadership, they focus on making money thanks to their location just across from the Conventum. Add the name "Grand" and it will always get people to stay there.
The hotel itself has the reputation of being the hottest hotel in town. it has always had that issue for the last decade, but once again, seems not to be prioritized. I wonder how much money the hotel could save by actually trying to lower the heating cost... My guess, quite a lot...
So find another hotel to spend your money on. This one just isn't worth it at all.

Service, rooms, restaurant and breakfast was good as always at a scandic hotel. And the location is very good. Near to centre and arenas. I think that you always will be satisfied when you stay at a Scandic hotel.

Stayed here during a conference with my company and it was good hotel with great facilities as large meeting rooms and a large dinner area. The rooms were good size and the food was ok, however I was really disappointed that my vegetarian dessert was leftovers from breakfast, yogurt with granola... . Only downside is that all sounds can be heard very clearly and at the evening it was a lot of noise from downstairs that disturbed quite a bit.
