Great park in Malmö, very clean and worth visiting during any time of the year. Certainly best in the summer though (as summers in Sweden tend to be quite short!). The area around the park is also very nice.

First came across it because we saw beams of light in the sky when we were eating just off Lilla Torg. Went to investigate and found a light show which was on for 10 days. It lit up avenues in different colours, there was a huge white lamp and huge white rabbit, an 80s disco room and a passport-like photo booth that generated a picture onto a giant screen. Unusual and a lovely bonus after our meal.
The park itself was lovely in the daytime. The best bit was the wild gardens - so full of colour. Then there's the windmill, the river and just somewhere lovely to wander on a nice day. Restaurant looked good but too busy when we were there (Sunday lunchtime) so we didn't stop.

Beautiful garden right near the centre of Malmo with stunning mature trees and gentle walks. We went through it on a boat trip and if we had had time we would have gone back there on foot to explore.

Kungsparken is connected from Slottsparken through a walk bridge. The park is not far from the center of Malmo, an ideal place for a stroll in the green environment.
