The staff have been friendly, polite and have gone out of their way to make us feel welcome. Limon made a special effort when decorating our room for my wife’s birthday as well as another one especially to celebrate the fact that she is pregnant. We are very thankful for the extra effort and attention to detail.

This place is amazingly beautiful, romantic and relaxing, a real paradise. We have spent 2 weeks at VARU and we will miss every single moment of it. The island is new and beautiful, the rooms are very well kept and cleaned regularly, all establishments like the restaurant and SPA was very clean and kept in a good order.
The staff is AMAZING! We had some time to get to know most of the people who were taking care of our daily things, and I have to stay that their kindness and helpful behaviour really stands out in all ways! We are really thankful to have met these people who made the best out of our stay!
I would like to highlight our caretaker, Jay, who was really kind and helpful. We got a small present from him EVERY day, and he made sure that our stay was always comfortable. If we had anything to ask, he was ready to help and support us with anything we asked for. Surely, his mentality and kindness really added a lot to our stay! We will miss him as much we will miss this Island!
The food was amazing. All restaurants serve amazing food with superb quality ingredients! The main restaurant in also very good, but we liked NU and KAAGE the best.
I recommend travellers to choose the VARU all-inclusive plan, as you will be given a plenty in the package to enjoy your stay (we have been granted 4x45 mins of free massage in the SPA and many times we had a reservation for the other restaurants as well).
All in all, our stay will be a time to remember always! We departed with a little heavy hearted, as we had to leave this beautiful paradise! I hope we will come back once in the coming years!

We had a memorable honeymoon experience at the varu island resort by atmosphere in maldives.
The 4 nights spent here were full of joy, serenity and love!
The hospitality and food were out of the world. We were attended to by Mr. Limon, who was very kind and polite! The rooms were cleaned and arranged in minutes to make us feel homely and comfortable! we were surprised by the honeymoon turndowner decoration which was so beautiful.
Our overall experience was 5/5 and would surely recommend this place for all the visitors.

My husband and I were planning our honeymoon and that’s when one of our close friends suggested us this resort. Initially we weren’t sure but with the reviews we heard we thought it would be safe enough.
Maldives has always been a dream destination that one can never get enough of. From the time we landed till our check out .... our honeymoon as been nothing short of a dream! The resort, food, people everything is just beyond perfect. The level of service was beyond expectations.
Prior to arrival they make sure you have a perfect itinerary to experience all what they have to offer. From the Mediterranean seafood specialty to Maldivian cuisine you have it all covered. We had a 5 days stay and we just didn’t want it to end. The location by itself is beautiful but it’s the people that make it worthwhile.... the staff there is just beyond amazing.
We had the most perfect 5 days of relaxation and adventure. The most lip smacking food and our favourite being Nu.... serving Mediterranean seafood.
Can’t thank you guys enough was making us create memories of a lifetime. Can’t wait to be back!!!
