Splendid location in the absolute heart of the city, Tivoli practically next door.
Well kept, tidy hotel.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
They still need to work on the processes:
- we did not get lounge access at check in and had to go back to fix it
- cleaning ”only on demand” is an odd concept in a premium hotel, especially when it doesn’t work. We ordered cleaning for the 2nd day, when checking in, but this didn’t work.
Even though the staff made their best to fix it when we complained, the damage was partly done anyhow. Why introduce such a downgrading system if your processes aren’t in place?
The breakfast was good, selection sufficient, the coffee was dreadful.
The lounge was nice, selection ok. It was especielly appreciated by domestic guests, getting louder and shoutier by the hour while efficiently trying to empty the wine and beer stock.
Saturday evening reminded more of a stag night than a classy lounge.
