We visited this Nyhavn restaurant twice, on consecutive nights. The first night, a Friday, we had an absolutely amazing meal, which is why we came back a second night. The mussels and caesar salad were particularly outstanding. For entrees, my husband had the veal medallions and I had the fillet of sole.
On the second night, a Saturday, there was obviously a different chef. They were extremely busy and our waiter was overwhelmed. We ordered the mussels again, and they were not nearly as good, lacking the ingredients and spices which had been in the broth the night before. The lobster bisque was also missing something. This meal was just average, and the service not up to par.
If you give this restaurant a try, I hope you will luck out and get the chef we had on Friday night!

In this day and age there is no excuse for refusing to serve tap water when the tap water in a city is potable. Environmentally a bad decision by the owner and bad customer service. Left me wanting to purchase no more than a main course. Food fine but nothing to rave about.

So you should expect to pay a lot in an expensive city at a place along the most touristic area of all. We were hungry after a long walking town and decided to grab the first shaded table along the harbor. The meal was perfectly fine for lunch. We ordered the tapas board and the open gave sandwich lunch plate. Service was friendly and the food came out fast.

One beef, when I asked for tap water, she said they don’t serve tap water only bottles. Haven’t had difficulty getting tap water in other Copenhagen restaurants.

Ok so Copenhagen is expensive and you have to be prepared to pay more to eat out here than other cities but this restaurant is just money hungry. They charged us for the mistakes that they made in service- we ordered a red wine, they brought a white wine and they charged us for both even though we only drank what we ordered, They make you buy bottled water- carafes are not available (Denmark is supposedly environmentally friendly) and on a hot day they didn't have much in the way of non alcoholic drinks as everything was sold out. They charge credit card fees on top of already expensive prices. No question of getting the wrong order credited. The food was mediocre at best and expensive for what it was. Service was slow. But they are on tourist hell food street so they don't have to offer good food, reasonable proces or good service as another sucker will come along tomorrow.

We visited here twice for a meal and we really enjoyed the ambience, food and the service was very good.: It was lovely to eat here and enjoyed watching people walking on the canal Bank and the atmosphere was really excellent. The steak was very good and vegetables to accompany were also good. Really enjoyed this restaurant.
