I found this hotel totally charming. Yes, as some other reviewers have noted, it has been unseasonably warm in Copenhagen lately, and the hotel doesn’t currently have air conditioning (but many Northern European hotels don’t — why would they?). But the architecture of this hotel is really interesting (heavy wooden beams) and the view over the harbor is fantastic. I also enjoyed the hotel restaurant, Salt, and the terrace. The nice thing about warm weather is that you can take advantage of outdoor seating! I also enjoyed the location enormously: it’s an easy walk to Nyhavn, the Little Mermaid statue, and Christiania, as well as Kastellet and Amalienborg.
