We, a couple in our sixties, had a wonderful one-week stay at this Sikia house in early April. The house is spacious, superbly equipped and has a large and beautiful terrace with a view of the sea. Also the garden is beautiful, with orange and lemon trees - and space for a car. The garden is decorated with love and great care. Whilst there is sun in front in the morning and the day, we took our dinner on the little nicely protected balcony over-viewing the garden in the back of the house. For eating out, you can enjoy traditional Greek food in the restaurant on the street level.
You don't necessarily need to have a car but we recommend having one. There are shops in Xylokastro, a couple of kilometres away and there are many interesting places to visit elsewhere on the Peloponnese, e.g. Ancient Corinth, Mycenae, Olympia.
Our hosts, Diamanto and Yanis, were really very friendly and had prepared our stay in a most welcoming way.
We highly recommend this holiday accommodation
