New Thessaloniki beach frontline is almost two kilometers long with lot of thematic parks, water parks and very beautiful steel and glass buildins which guest temporary exhibitions of art, architecture and music. You can also have the opportunity to attend some interesting musical recitals and theatrical plays. Its a new place for runners and has a not so well respected from bikers and pedestrians. Also, you could come face to face with illegally circulating bikers.

Promenade of the city with thematical parks. 5.5 km from the port to the double music hall with parks of the roses the sounds the memory etc. The umbrellas of George Zoggolopoulos is the most important sculpture in the area. You can bicycle. You can walk and run. The most spectacular sunset of Greece with Mt Olympus at the background

The seaside of thessaloniki is a very beautifull place to walk. There are beautifull parks the one next to another and it's one have different architectural theme. You can rent a bicycle, walk, run, have a coffee etc. There are special dog parks and areas for kids. It's city's most beautifull place.

. It is one of the best spots of the city "open" all year round and most of all it's free! I do not know where to begin describing the activities somebody can do there, like : walking, biking, running, solitary walks or with friends looking at the beautiful sunsets, family outings, watching music bands playing or sitting carefree to the pier ... just use your imagination, improvise and most of all pay a visit! it's a must!

Walk along the seafront any time of day all throughout the year whatever the weather! It is relaxing, in sun, wind, storms, snow! Walk briskly from the port to the Concert Hall in about 40 mins or take a stroll stopping along the way for a coffee, to sit on a bench, in a park, to enjoy the view (particularly when Mt Olympus is clearly visible across the bay), cycle, stargaze!
