One of the most famous hotels in Thessaloniki is back again and offers the very best of quality!!Located in the city centre, across the sea and close to all areas you need to visit, this place is the best choice for your stay.Do not hesitate to pay more than the usual hotels because it deserves every single euro. Also do not forget to visit the pool and the café and restaurant. You will enjoy your meals and drinks and have the best holiday in town!!

Regrettably we had a short stay here and could not extend further this enjoyable experience of fine dining, comfortable sleeping, relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is modern but undoubtedly has its own unique style and charm. The staff was great - knowledgeable and supportive. You can spend all your time in the hotel to escape the city’s fuss or alternatively have a 10 min walk to major shopping and dining spots.

We stayed here for a week and can attest to the luxury of the accommodations. Comfortable bed, luxurious bath, lovely water views, inviting pool and an amazing breakfast buffet. Rooms have double paned windows and each room has a balcony with seating. I am a light sleeper so paying the premium for the view side rooms was key for me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is located on the promenade which made it easy to walk to the downtown sites and restaurants. It is about a half mile walk but I very much valued not being in the throng of nighttime activity as well as enjoying an evening walk to/from dinner. My only complaint was the absence of the concierge. He was never at his desk and thus it was the only negative I experience with this 5-star hotel.

Thessaloniki is a very nice city to visit but to pick a hotel is not so straight forward. When you choose the city center it is loud, no place to park, driving is a torture and the air is not fresh at all. Outside the city isn't good either as you need a car (public transportation is just the bus or the taxi) and in the city parking isn't easy either.

Thankfully there is Macedonia Palace to save the situation. Just 10 minutes walk from the city center with private parking options outside the hotel or in the underground parking lot.
Furthermore , it was just last year renovated and the rooms are very nice and modern furnished.
Located directly at the seaside, you won't be able to leave your room with such a view.
The people here really WANT to help you and will do so with a smile.
The price for what you get is very good too, most of the hotels in this category don't offer so much in this price.

For me a clear suggestion, if you can afford take the corner suite with sea view and on the side of the white tower. Then you will have the best view in the city.

The view alone made me happy already – the view on the sea, on the boardwalk and parts of the city of Thessaloniki. At night, the boardwalk would become alive with people strolling and spending their time. There is no street between the hotel and the sea, so it’s quiet apart from some music from restaurants (bring earplugs if you’re sensitive).

But there was also the modern, clean and large room, the stylish lobby, the good breakfast and Greek specialties in the restaurant. Have you eaten Greek in your home country? Think again and try the modern interpretation at the hotel restaurant (and for the best Greek salad I ever had, I can recommend the Ergon Agora market and restaurant, a 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel).

Thessaloniki is a city, not a beach resort, but a city worth a visit, for its cool and relaxing atmosphere. Most guests in the hotel actually seemed to be Greek people living abroad or transiting, which created a distinctly non-touristic feeling.

All the staff were competent and friendly – but you have to approach them if you need anything (this is not Asia, where people in hotels often know before me what I want). This is not a rushed place, in fact, even the modern elevators seem to take a moment of reflection after the doors close and before moving. Adding to the relaxation is the Hamman, with reasonably priced, excellent treatments.

Recommendation: If you go for a city break or in transit, pay for a sea view room, best for an executive room on the upper floor. Unless you live in a paradise or at least on a beach all year round, you won’t regret this.

Room Tip: Absolutely go for a Sea Room view, Executive rooms seem to be on top floors.
