Good setting with explanation both in English and Greek. If you want to carefully look at the setting, take two hours. Admission for adults is € 2 for a child we are not charged. I was annoyed with not at all discreet monitoring the three of us, as the only visitors. They literally blew my neck. Rude and barely answered my two questions.
Compared with the museum in Philippi, this one is better, but with Tassos museum it can not even compare.

Manageable size, well laid out and labelled. Interesting finds from Kavala, Filippi and the surrounding area. Welcoming staff that seemed almost surprised to have a foreign visitor...

Very informative, with all info and explantations available in English. Parking available, but easily accessible on foot from witin town. Note there is a green-market occupying the carpark on Saturdays.

The museum is well set out with good explanations. The lady on the desk was extremely helpful in answering any questions. Always take your time in these museums as there is a lot to learn.
