This is our second time at Alfa hotel and once again it doesn’t disappoint. Everything you need to have a relaxing holiday is here. Great rooms ( free aircon )fabulous pool and bar area . The breakfast is very good and there is something for everyone, including a great coffee machine. The staff are wonderful from the restaurant to the bar and front of house. The hotel is immaculate as well as the gardens. The room is cleaned everyday, towels changed daily and bedding changed every other day. Like Arnie says I’ll Be Back!!!!

We have been coming to Parga for 5 years now and feel that we know the area very well. However, this was the first year that we have stayed at the Alfa and we were not disappointed. We booked because on previous years we had spoken to people who were staying at the Alfa and they all said how nice it was.

They were not wrong!

The Alfa is a small hotel set over 2 floors and is situated in a quite lane a short walk (5 mins) from the 2 town beaches, and about a 10 minute walk to the main harbour area. The hotel is set in lovely grounds which are beautifully maintained with areas laid to lawn, trees and shrubs. There is a simple pool area which has a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere with a bar serving drinks and a nice lunch menu.

Inside the hotel the public areas and reception are simple and elegant, and the rooms are extremely stylish having been refurbished recently. Our room had a VERY comfortable bed and plenty of storage in the room. There was a safe as well as a small fridge, kettle with tea/coffee and a wall mounted TV. There was also a very good hair dryer in the cupboard as well. The bathroom was a nice size and beautifully fitted with a large walk in shower.

The staff at the Alfa are brilliant!! Dimitrius the manager is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for him. Elisabeth who does the breakfast and the bar is fantastic as well as Sonny the evening barman. It was clear that all the staff want the guests to enjoy their stay and they certainly did that for us. We must mention the cleaners who did our room, as they kept our room absolutely spotless everyday….you could not fault the cleanliness of the rooms!

The breakfast was the usual buffet breakfast you expect in the Mediterranean, but was of a very high standard, with cereals, cakes, fruit, breads, jams, meats, cheeses, olives, yoghurt and honey as well as cooked items like bacon, sausage (Greek) eggs mushrooms and tomatoes. The hotel has a restaurant that has a fantastic reputation, and although we did not eat there ourselves (as we like to go out to the town for the evening), everyone we have spoken to who has eaten there recommends it, so we will try it next year when we return. All the food that we have eaten at the Alfa, either breakfast or lunch has been delicious.

Overall, the Alfa is a fantastic hotel, small but perfectly formed. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a quite break, at a hotel that puts it's guests first and is clean and well appointed. If we could give it 6 stars we would.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Alfa. The bedrooms are very modern and stylish with an exceptional bathroom. Our bed was very comfortable with excellent bedding. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the gardens and pool area well maintained. Staff on the whole pleasant, Sonny is an exceptional member of staff, he has a lovely smile and infectious laugh. We ate at the 5 Senses, the food was good but atmosphere was lacking, we probably chose a quiet night. The only negative comment I have is the pool is open to non residents which I appreciate brings extra money to the hotel but when you see non residents leaving their towels on sun beds at 8.20am it’s VERY ANNOYING.

Just returned from 2 weeks at this fabulous hotel. Rooms although not large are immaculate and beautifully furnished with lovely white crisp bed linen , the bathroom has the most amazing shower, plenty of hot water day and night and fabulously soft white towels. Pool towels are also provided. A proper hairdryer, kettle and tea and coffee provided along with a fridge, and there are ample plug sockets. The air conditioning runs effectively and is really quiet. The housekeeping staff keep the rooms spotless.
The Alpha has the most amazing staff, Elizabeth who always greets you at breakfast with a smile is still smiling when also serving food at lunchtimes and managing the bar she works so hard and is a big asset to the hotel, also Sonny (who has a very infectious laugh) arrives at 4pm and works until the last person leaves the bar and I’m sorry to say my husband and daughter kept him up very late some evenings.
The 5 Senses restaurant attached to the hotel serves the best food in parga and the menu choice is fantastic, try the house wine it’s lovely and not cheap and nasty. Demetrius and his evening staff are so professional and welcoming.
The pool area is spotless and yes it is open to non residents but you never need to put down a towel early as there are ample beds. The pool bar serves a great selection of food and drinks and a comfortable area to sit and chill out of the sun.
